Maine HS District 207 held their Cosmetology Workshop for the second year in a row. Under the guidance of instructor Kandi Corbbins, students learned shampooing & hair drying, curling & styling, braiding & natural hair care, makeup & facial care, and hair cutting. They also focused on work ethic, communication in the workplace, and teamwork.

Both Glenbrook campuses provided STEM experiences for elementary students. Glenbrook North held an Intro to Autos seminar. Fourteen male and eight female students were taught how to weld, rotate a tire, and even put their skills to the test in a NASCAR Pit Crew competition. Glenbrook South organized an Invento Design Challenge for 24 female students. The girls completed a team building activity and then worked together to build a rideable scooter! See the girls in action in the video to the right!
